Boeing versus Airbus (completed)
The Boeing versus Airbus project was a study into the use of synchronous and a-synchronous communication tools. These tools were used to support the collaboration between students from the faculty of Economics of the Universiteit Maastricht and Whitworth Graduate School of International Management. The study involved a student evaluation of these tools during their course. The results provided important insights into the effectiveness of their use between two continents with a 7-hour time lag. There will be a follow-up of the experiment in 2001 to incorporate these finding to improve the effectiveness of these tools.
